Re: Any connection between candida and PCOS? - Christine

I just remembered, I did have horrible cramps and pains for a while at the beginning of treatment and I did some research and figured that it was probably because I was ovulating again. I think I wasn't always ovulating and didn't realize it. Maybe that explains your cramps, look at what symptoms you are having and the time of the month. Keep a calendar of your cycle and symptoms.

You might want to revist the issue of increasing your glucophage after getting your hormone levels and fasting insulin retested. My fasting insulin dropped 2 points after increasing to 1500mg. I went from 13 to start, then 8 on 1000mg and now 6.1. on 1500mg. I think this is a good level for me.

-- your vitamin sounds good, I'm taking Women's Ultra Mega with iron. It only has 88mcg of B-12. I noticed my B-12 blood levels went down 200 points after I switched to being a vegetarian because I wasn't taking supplements regularly. Now I do not fail to do so. What does it mean that your vitamin is a whole food supplement? I'm still very new to vegetarianism and the required supplements.

TIA

Anne
