Re: Any connection between candida and PCOS?From: Anne (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue, 14 May 2002 20:00:12 -0500 (CDT)
Is it happening when you have pms? It could be related to hormonal changes. You are on a very low dose of glucophage. My PCOS is mild, I was probably at the onset point when I started. I took 1000mg for 4-5 months and just upped it to 1500mg and I am having absolutely no pms problems any more, or cravings. I wonder if it could also be your body responding to the positive hormonal changes occuring due to the glucophage. However, sometimes our bodies will crave what we need, not just what is bad for us, I'm also a vegetarian, are you making sure to take B-12 / or a multivitamin? Good luck Anne
