Any connection between candida and PCOS?

I was wondering if there could possibly be a connection between candida problems and PCOS? I have both. I do not eat dairy, refined processed sugars or products or meat. I also stay away from breads, things with yeast and that feed the yeast. But for the last 2 months, I have craved these things soooo badly. I have given in a lot to these cravings, and since then, I have had a return of symptoms...i.e. Aching and cramping all the time from the ovaries, uterus. I take Glucophage XR 500mg a day, and when I started taking it, my symptoms subsided. WEll I am still taking it, and the symptoms are coming back. So I was wondering if there may be a connection or just a coincidence. Any thoughts?
