Re: Can anyone help me interpret my results. From: Anne (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 9 May 2002 08:42:09 -0500 (CDT)
You should get your fasting insulin tested as well. Your fasting insulin should be under 10. Your results look somewhat similar to mine and I'm on 1500mg of glucophage for my IR/PCOS. Day 3 of cycle: LH: 3.9 (.0-76.3) FSH: 6.0 (2.5-10.2) Estradiol: 40 (19-528 Prolactin: 7 (2.8-29.2) Testosterone, Serum 43: (14-76) Insulin: 6.1 (6.0-27.0) (down from 13) TSH: 0.335 (.35-5.5) (I need to decrease my thyroid medication) I haven't talked to my doctor about the LH:FSH yet either, if you find out about it, please let me know. You can have pcos without having all of the indicators - without even having cysts. Tests usually include fasting insulin. I'm sorry about your miscarriage. I'm sure you'll get to the bottom of what's wrong. Best wishes, Anne
