another low carb question

I know that low carbing will help to lose weight, but I have read that its not healthy to low carb because some low carb diets promote eating fatty, artery clogging foods. With the increased risk for heart disease that we already face, is it really so dangerous to low carb? I am not trying to put anyone down for low carbing and I think its great that you can lose weight doing it, I just wanted some further clarification about what I had read. Thanks!!! Candi
