>ok those I know have correlations, here is where my questions are Janette, You didn't mention what kind of medication you are on or what kind of tests you have had done. I just want to suggest that you get your thyroid tested as well as insulin, gloucose and all hormones. I was treated for depression that never got better with medication because it was my thyroid. Thyroid insufficiency can cause a lot of problems including carpel tunnel, and aggrevate probelms - reflux, and it can take a while to heal from it. Your TSH should be between 1-2. It sounds like your body is giving you a lot of reasons for depression - both chemical -- internally -- and just in dealing with all the difficulties of it. As to anxiety disorders, I had PTSD from a violent crime that occurred when I was young. It wasn't adequately treated at that time, when I was a teen there was no such thing as PTSD. Anyway, I got over it through desensitization a few years ago. But I think that my thyroid disorder and my insulin resistance made things worse. Until I went on glucophage I had feelings of anxiety, esp. at night, I couldn't understand it. Well, they went away with the glucophage and a high fiber mostly vegetarian diet and lots of exercise, so for me anxiety was also physical. A lot of things I was told were psychological were actually physical. This may be true in your case as well. I was also diagnosed with chronic fatigue but what it actually was was a variety of illnesses: very severe reflux disease because my gallbladder was barely functioning, removing it helped a lot; thyroid disease; ir/pcos; years of very high stress. Are you scheduled to take care of the cervical precancerous cells? I had that many years ago and had crytosurgery - the cells were frozen off. It wasn't that bad - it didn't take long and if was no more painful than a period. I don't know if they still do that procedure. It worked for me. It is one of the easiest cancers to prevent via early detection and treatment. Just make sure you get your paps done according to the schedule they give you - that's very important. I know it scared me a lot at the time. You have a great deal of endocrine problems. I spent a lot of time (15 years) correcting problems less serious than yours. If I were you I'd find a way to go to a really great doctor right away rather than trying to work through an hmo plan, if you can find a way to pay for it you could save yourself years and years of problems - worth it in the long run. I suggest you take a look at this site: http://www.herplace.com I hope you can get the medical attention you need and feel better soon. Anne
