I have that problem. For me, it's food related. If I eat carbs, then I get a hot flash. If I'm not as tight on my carbs as I need to be (avoiding carbs and eating protein snacks often enough), then I get hot, and hot at night. If I eat a piece of cheese, then the flash goes away.
