Re: premarin vaginal cream and blood clots - please helpFrom: Pat (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 6 May 2002 09:40:06 -0500 (CDT)
This is a new one on me, also, but perhaps the progesterone cream is being used in the same way that provera is used. Provera is a synthetic progesterone, with more side effects, while progesterone is a natural progesterone with less side effects. AS it has only been out a few years, perhaps this is a use. It can't hurt to try it for a few cycles and see what transpires. You have some other health risks, so perhaps this is a reasonable safe option.
