Thanks for the reply. You are right about aldactone being a diuretic, but it really did not do the trick for me. Although you are right about having to go to the bathroom, i still had puffiness in my face and fingers, etc. Since I have quit it (after over 5 years) I have not noticed a huge increase in the puffiness. Even my dr. thinks it is weird. I drink a lot of fluids. Water and milk mostly. I think I may have to cut down the salt. I never had these problems until I started 'treatmet' 5 years ago.
