Reply: penhead: "Re: Glucophage XR questions?" Hi all!! Finally, I have found a cooperative doctor and he has started me on Glucophage XR 500 mg/day. This is only my second day and have really not had much nausea with it (thankfully). How will I know when and if it is ok to up my dose, and to let my doctor know as well. I am new to the use of this medication, and hopeful of positive results, although I know I will not get there on 500 mg/day.
