I haven't used it but was looking into it once. They will give you suggestions as to how to mix it with other foods (ie into shakes, chili, bread, hot breakfast cereal, etc). Another good source of d-chiro is soy lecithin, either granules or gelcaps. I got the gelcaps from GNC stores once but some people like the granules better. Good luck!!! On http://www.soulcysters.com there was a link to a list of foods that have a high concentration of d-chiro but soy lecithin was by far the leader at 750 mgs per dose. Other things like strawberries came in at less than 100. I had the most success with a very low carb diet and the foods on the d-chiro list were too carby for me. Just understand that the research by Dr. John Nestler shows that women with PCOS excrete d-chiro in our urine at 5 times the rate of other women; it is very challenging to try to replace this loss dietetically every day. He is working on a new drug called INS-1 (http://www.insmed.com) to make the body not dump out d-chiro. It is the lack of d-chiro that allows our insulin to run too high. You may read that oranges are a good source of d-chiro, but the fact is that most of it is found in the peels that we throw away. :o( Hope this helps!!!!!
