Hey Mel, how're you going? I STILL have that lack of appetite thing. Which I know, on the surface sounds like a good thing, but it's really frustrating. I have enough trouble eating as it is, I've just got other things I'd rather be doing than eat! And when food is distasteful as well, I have trouble. I am hypoglycemic and I can't go for too long without eating. The one thing that brings my appetite back for me is excercise. When I've been really active all morning lunch will sound good and I can stomach a sandwich and maybe fruit or veggies as well. I also drink a lot. I know caffeine is bad for us but I often make big mugs of tea with plenty of milk and can get through one of those. I figure it is better than not eating anything. Adoption is currently on hold until we get Pete a new job! He was laid off in November and has been, bless his heart, working at the local grocery store ever since. Even though I went back to work as well, money is really tight. We live in a horrifically expensive area but can't seem to find jobs anywhere, even though we'd be happy to move! As soon as we are back on our feet a bit, we'll proceed again. We'll be adopting from Kazakhstan I think, south of Russia. The kids are gorgeous, the fees are not so bad, and the children and very healthy and well cared for, with a 1:6 caregiver ratio which is wonderful. I had a week or two when I really thought about going back to TTC and going on Clomid or something but I just couldn't face it. Adoption is really what we want. This got long! Tell me how you are!
