I took bcp years ago for a very short time. I am 38 years old (non-smoker) and have such a fear of taking any meds it is unreal. There were not many recent posts on this bcp. I am particularly interested in hearing from women over 35 taken bcp for the first time. I also was recently diagnosed diabetic (I was diagnosed IR in 2000)and am going to start glucaphage again.
