shaving lasts a whole day for you? wow, i'd say you're lucky! :-)

i have not tried laser treatment myself. i would love to get them on my face but i don't know if it's worth the money with PCOS... plus I don't have all dark hairs, I have a lot of those darn white ones that feel icky but can't be seen... laser won't get them so well. i contacted a place around here that did it...

dark hair and light skin is supposed to be best for success with the laser... so for once, having dark leg hair is a good thing! the procedure for your legs, however, will likely run you several thousand dollars... and unless you're PCOS is well controlled, your success will be iffy. bummer, i know...

i would suggest if you are going to go for it, try just the bikini area first. that's the worst place to shave in my opinion, and therefore would be the best leg hair to get rid of, if you can only chose a small section. that should run you several hundred or maybe a thousand... but it would give you a good idea if the procedure actually works for you, and how...

i'd find a doc/laser tech who is familiar with PCOS if possible... also see if they have a guarantee of any sort... i know there are actually places out there that if you see regrowth, they'll zap it free of charge.

my finacee says he's going to get me laser hair removal as a wedding present... i'm not sure if i should be offended or delighted. he swears the hair doesn't bother him (which i believe... he WAS raised by hippies, heh...) but that the way i feel about it bothers him (which i also believe... i'd feel 900% sexier if it weren't for this darn hair!!!!!) We'll see if he follows through with it... :-)
