PCOS Diagnosis today. - Help

I have been diagnosed with PCOS. I have a few questions 1. The Doc took a sample of my end. lining because it is so thick to ensure that it isn't cancerious. Should I be worried? (it is 25 mm) 2. Two of the larger cysts I have, have tissue growing between them. Is this normal? 3. I am overweight (yep, one of the 50%) and am wondering 3 things, a: Is this caused by being overweight? It seems as though all symtoms started at once (gained 70 lbs and had started have irreg periods) b: Why isnt diet and excersise working for me? c: If I lost weight, will it 'cure' me. 4. Here is my treatment plan, which I want a 2nd opinion on... -Provera to reduce my lining (2 months) -Ultra sound in 2 months to ensure the cyst with tissue is gone - Clomid to help me get pregnant

5. If I take weight loss medicine, is it going to effect the provera or clomid?

I am scared to death and sad.. any advice will be wonderful!
