I donīt know all problems connected with prolactin levels, only one, and that is it could be lika cyst/tumour by the pituary gland. That can cause lack of menses and visual disturbances if it presses on the optic nerve. I knew a woman who had this, and she got hormones to replace what the pituary gland couldnīt do and lives with it quite well as far as I know. She lost a lot of weight, didnīt have her period for half a year and on Christmas Eve she sort of collapsed. She thought it was stress first. But donīt worry to much now, as I said, all I know about it I have learned from this girl.
