Hello.Your symptoms sound very familiar to me.I have the same sensation of never being able to take a deep enough breath.I don't know if it is related to pcos or not.I have just been diagnosed this week with pcos and am waiting for a few more test results before my doctor puts me on metformin,provera and aldactone.This "shortness of breath" sensation comes and goes.I also have GERD(gastro-esophageal reflux disease),so the epigastric fullness sensation might also be related.Do you have stomach problems?I also found that ingesting food and drinks high in sulfites (wine,beer,raisins...)trigger an episode of "shortness of breath".Do you have any dietary allergies?Might be worthwhile to have it investigated if it is really bothersome.For me,the repeated deep breaths that i was taking was giving me PVCs(premature ventricular contractions)---a type of heart arrhythmia.Please feel free to e-mail me with any concerns.I am a registered nurse who was trained in cardiology and respiratory medecine.I am now a geriatric nurse specialist.Regards.
