I had irregualr periods for years that was treated by giving birth control pills, now that I am married and want to have a baby I was just diagnoced with (PCOS) Is this common? What advice can anyone give me on PCOS? Today the doctor prescribed metformin (Glucophage) for me. Also, I never had a weight problem until I started the birth control pills. Now I am overweight by about 50 pounds. Any one relate to this?
