For me, my cholesterol and lipid levels went down significantly when I started
my strict low-carb diet. They were far higher when I was on a low-fat diet.
I think it depends partly on genetics, and partly on how limited your carbs
are. If you keep it low enough, you change your metabolism so you respond to
it differently.
