thanks for your words, tera. i appreciate them.

something is strange as i don't seem to have food/carb symtpoms/reactions that most pco'ers do. when i took the carbohydrate addict diet's 'test' i came back doubtful carb addiction. or however they phrased it.

low carbing didn't simply make me nauseous...it made me extremely hypoglycemic. (i think my insulin levels and reactions to food are mostly related to my extremely rigorous exercise schedule.) i was very sick with it...and it made me even more scared re: insulin/diabetes and such b/c a very rudimentary, very simplistic way of looking at it, as i understood, is: IR can be a precursor for diabetes, and hypoglycemia can be a precursor for IR.

it was so bad...and i finally stopped doing the low carb thing and have felt fine since. (it may be of note that i still don't eat a TON of carbs...but i certaily eat them.) but i'm on the phone today trying to make new appts w/ dr's...
