I have been trying to conceive since 15 months. It has been 9 months that i went to see a Gynaecologist. SHe treated me with Prolifen, observer the egg formation/ ovulution via vaginal ultrasounds, but i did not conceive .So finally in Jan she told me to have a laproscopy to check the tubes.

That month i had a cycle of 50 days. Previously it was normao around 30-32 days. Before Laproscopy she asked me to have fasting sugar and insulin test. MY sugar was 87 but insulin came to be 23.5(normal range 1 to 17.5)

So she diagnosed that i have PCOS and insulin Resistance and referred me to an Endocrinologist. The Endo crinologist ordered to have pelvic ultrasound from where the following results came: Right ovary normal have small cysts at the perifery , whereas left ovary is 1.5 times larger than right and has multiple cysts, inaddition there is also a cyst in the pelvis which they call something like "Nepathulas".

I am 32 yrs old and have a daughter of 5. I have been trying to conceive and is much worried.

My dr has asked to have about 10 more tests that incule something like related to thyroid, LDL, HDL, testosterone, and many others. I have to take them.

For the time being i am taking 1.5 g/d of Metformin. I a worried a lot. I am 5'2'' and weigh around 64kg. I am also trying to loose weight.

I am worried a lot, can anyone else has these symptoms and can anyone give some advice. Best Regards
