I don't know... *in my humble opinion (and I hope no one attacks me for
it)* Clomid is dispensed quite liberally... more liberally than
appropriate care... in all honesty though, (((may I ask how old you
are? just out of curiousity)))you are taking a big risk trying to get
pregnant with no medical net to fall to... PCOSufferers have alot of
miscarraiges due to low progesterone levels and if they do not cover lab
work, you'll never be able to be sure if your progesterone is too low
(and you never answered my question about taking Metformin or Glucophage
so just to let you know, studies have shown that Met/Gluc are beneficial
through the first trimester, and lower the percentage of miscarraiges in
PCOSers, plus it makes the Clomid work much more effectively in us)...
and as an individual who has had a miscarraige please just let me tell
you that it is 10 times as painful as waiting a little while... it
wreeks havoc on your mind, body, emotions, etc... so even if they'll
write you a script for Clomid, I'd be leary of jumping into it now
because the landing may really hurt....... as far as insurance, is it
an option to get it through your work or your hubbies work? A group plan
has much more difficulty in refusing you than an individual purchase
plan... but I do believe that if you look hard enough you'll be able to
find an individual plan that will take you, PCOSufferer or not........
