If anyone here knows of a doctor in Wisconsin who is familiar with treating pcos, I would greatly appreciate his/her name. I have seen a ob/gyn who basically put me on bcp's & told me to lose weight. (5'2", 230lbs. diet & exercise were not working, so I gave up). I also saw an Endo who told me pretty much the same thing & sent me on my way. Neither of these people would test me for IR . . . I also saw a family physician who wrote me a prescription for blood pressure & cholesterol meds (which I never filled) & told me to get a hysterectomy. I would really like to find someone who can administer the proper tests & help treat me. Any info is appreciated!!
