I will go through my hundreds of links on the matter and find some for
you. The basic FACT about soy is that it IS a goitrogen, PERIOD. People
who are at risk for hypothyroidism and even some who aren't, should not
be eating it, or should limit their consumption to under 30 grams of the
substance a day. That is not up for dispute. Goitrogenic foods should
be avoided by people at risk for thyroid disease. I will find studies
for you. I recall one where mice were fed soy and stopped growing into
adulthood... or babies who were fed soy formulas and had an extremely
higher instance of hypothyroidism...
