Hi,
I would give a suggestion if you can tell us *exactly* "at times" means. Does
this mean before, during or after your period? After having an argument with
someone? Were you exhausted from a 10 hour day and someone worked your last
nerve? There are lots of reasons for mood swings, but it is easier to suggest a
solution if you know when these swings are happening. BCP might be an option,
but so might an SSRI or similiar type of drug, exercise, diet change (if carbs
are a problem), thyroid problems ... lots of things

HELP!
I have been so moody for the past 3 months that my boyfriend is about to
break up with me. I have tried to talk to my doctor about my mood
swings and my pcos and he does not seem concerned at all. My boyfriend
is beginning to think pcos is nothing but an excuse for me to be a b*tch
to him. It seems like I have no control over my moodiness lately. I
have been depressed, irritable, and downright mean at times. I have
been diagnosed for 4 years now and I am on 2000mg Glucophage XR. I was
reading up on some old posts about glucophage and saw that some people
think you should not take more than the smallest dose that works for
you, maybe I am on too much? What about bcps, would they help with my
hormone fluctuations? I do not know what to do anymore but if anyone
else has gone through this, please help me!
Thank you!
