Re: Why are Soy products bad for PCOS?

I think one of the reasons soy is recommended for other women is because it delays ovulation and makes cycles longer which is good for women not ttc because the hormones that cause ovulation can also cause cancer, however since most women who are PCOS already have cycles that are so long that they are at risk for uterine lining cancer if not treated lenghing cycles is a bad odea. I am ttc so personally I want to ovulate as soon as possible in a cycle which right now even with glucophage has never been earlier then cd 22.

By the way I just switched from the XR version to the regular and I am feeling so much better, my syptoms have almost completly gone away, I no longer have heartburn and constant runs. I had been on the XR since July starting with 500 mg and had worked up to 2000 in Jan even after 2 months at that dose I had constant trouble but since switching a week ago they have went away, so if the XR is not working talk to your dr about the regular.
