I am not completely sure but as far as I know a lot of people with PCOS will fail the GTT, because if you have insulin resistance your body does not use glucose very well and I think that there are levels that coincide with insulin resistance versus Diabetes, however the insulin tests are much better. Try to see another dr and endocrinologist if possible and have an LH/FSH as well as insulin and a c-peptide test.

Also if you do take the GTT eat a lot of carbs the day before but do not not fast if you do so your glucose level which they will test before the actual test starts will be much higher and indicate diabetes instead of PCOS or insulin resistance.

Good luck.
