My little sis finally saw her GP who tested her for TSH and Insulin (after my encouragement - though she didn't test the normal panel) - this is the GP who said my sis did not have serious pcos, if any, because she is very thin. Anyway, it turns out both her TSH and Insulin are on the very upper range of normal (though she didn't tell me what the actual results were). The GP is with it enough to now agree to refer her to an endocrinologist. I am trying to give her as much info as possible so that she knows what to ask and do. Thank goodness. Now we just need to see if the endo is good. She is seeing someone at the Wesley in Brisbane, AUstralia. Don't know who yet.
