Hi Kristy,
welcome. You definitely can't conceive on BCP, and considering you are
unhappy using them you should definitely throw them away.
Low carb diet should be helpful. As exercise can also be.
Sounds like you should find a new doctor (and you probably will need to
search) - the latest treatment for PCOS is metformin. If that alone
does not help you get regular cycles, then clomid should be added.....
and if still not there are injectables.... etc.
Sounds like your doctor is beating around the bush (Australian for
stuffing you around). If you have infertility fro 3 years already you
should have been started on fertility treatment - regardless of your
diagnosis. And he is not treating you right for PCOS anyway.
If you list on here where you live -perhaps someone here could help you
in finding a dr.
Please be assertive in getting the appropriate treatment.
