Hello - I am New & Undiagnosed (yet) (VERY LONG)From: Kris (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 29 Mar 2002 18:32:34 -0600 (CST)
Hello Everyone! Welcome to my life! Reading a lot of your postings, it sounds like you already know who I am! I am 29 (getting ready for the big 30 soon) & having been married now for 2-1/2 yrs, we are getting ready to TTC and it has already been going on the 9th week of no cyles. I know I'm not pregnant - already had my lab work done which shows my LH higher than my FSH & my testosterone level way over the 50 mark. I will be going in for my VERY first OB-GYN appt in May. Hoping he can finally tell me that I do have & start trying to control it. My mom just happened to be reading the Woman's Day magazine (thank God for that) saw the article & immediately told me I needed to look into it. When I checked out Woman's Day article on the internet, it was like reading all about me. Being the petite person that I am, my wrists are only like 6" around but my abdomen is wear all my weight is, I immediately called my PCP, faxed her all the information I could find on it & she set me up right away with an OB-GYN. I still get the symptoms of the cycle, such as cramping in my stomach & MOODINESS but no actual period & it is driving me insane. I would appreciate any help from anyone out there as I have not yet been diagnosed yet but I am almost positive I will be in May. My husband is very supportive as well but I still need those women who understand it as well.
