People in our condition often have more nasty side effects from bcps than good, so... if I were you I'd look into hormone replacement therapy instead of using bcps.

Find out your exact levels and look into what kinds of therapy there are available. Do NOT use provera, no pill-popping! If you need progesterone, use a progesterone cream (bought from a reputed source; some creams don't actually HAVE progesterone in them). If you need estrogen, use estrogel or estrogen drops placed on the inside wrist. (Estrogen is very expensive to make into a cream; most estrogen creams are useless because estrogen isn't easily absorbed into the skin, so it has to go through a special process... and this doesn't turn easily into cream.)

Also, keep an eye on your testosterone levels. A high testosterone (>50) will cause disruption... look into lowering that if you have a problem (glucophage will help, as an insulin sensitizer).

Good luck.
