I had this too, its actually a pre-cancerous condition, it can lead to cancer if left to build, my GYN did a D&C which is where they scrape the lining of the uterus and get all that gunk out, the same procedure they use for an abortion, make sure your dr. is good at this, there can be complications if not done correctly, after this was done, its a one day procedure at the hospital, I was in and out very quickly. I was then put on BCP to promote healthy growth of the cells in the uterus and given a biopsy every 3 months for a year then another one of those transvaginal ultrasounds. I was clean, if caught early enough you should be okay, if they are still calling it endometrial hyperplasia rather than endometrial cancer then its a good sign, I remember it scared the hell outta me when I had to do this. I felt the more information I could find the better, go to the library, I got info there and I wrote to the American Cancer Society and they sent me info on it, you could probably find info on their site, I believe its http://www.cancer.org I hope some of this help
