I'll admit since i started having probs...I've been doing quite a bit of net reading... I am concerned that my symptoms do not fit the PCOS type...I don't miss periods for years now...Dr's have found no cysts...my tests are normal...my major problem is hair...and that's about it I have been reading quite a bit about Cushings and am wondering if I might have it...or at least developing it, I seem to have many of the symptoms...how do I know? Dr. sent me for blood work to test my cortisol, but neglected to tell me when I should go...not knowing, i went late afternoon...hence the results are going to be screwed up...I have to return to the Dr. and don't just want a band-aid solution to the hair..if i have something else, i want it treated and ASAP!! Am starting to wonder if I have something, or perhaps just "medical student syndrome"!! V.frustrating to not know what i have...Dr. kind of shrugged it off, said it might just be a family thing...
