Hi Amy,

PCOS can be diagnosed several different ways. Is your doc only using test numbers for this.

Second, I have PCO and endo. The lap is to diagnose if you have endo for sure. Just because your pain isn't bad now, doesn't mean that it won't be, nor that it isn't causing internal scarring from the implants. A diagnosis is essential to know how to treat you. As for the procedure, its not that bad at all. What does she base that on medically? How does she know they are likely not to find anything? What is she basing that on? A diagnosis of PCO really doesn't have any bearing on endometriosis.
