Hi Barbra and all I am also weirdly muscular -- I'm surely not an athlete! The only thing I can think of is that with the elevated testosterone levels my body makes more muscle, as a man's body would. Right now I'm about 100 lbs overweight. I still can't believe it as I write it. I weigh 250 lbs. I am 5'4 and I once weighed 154 lbs. Even then, though, I thought I was "fat" -- In retrospect, it was that way (I felt fat) because I was so muscular, not lean and thin, and I weighed so much more than my peers. The paradox of it all is that I, too, have an hour glass figure! It's like the epitome of feminine wrapped up with the epitome of masculine all in one body! By the same token, I have a very soft feminine voice, but I have a beard and mustache that I shave every day (by choice). I gotta laugh -- the incongruity of it all!!! By the way, I also have the high sex drive that may be due to elevated testosterone, but my dr. says that she thinks women's sex drive is more affected by high estrogen and progesterone levels...she said she sees women who have much higher testosterone levels than I have who have absolutely no sex drive whatsoever. Here's a predicament I'd like to throw out there: I have always had major depression. I take the SSRI antidepressant drug, Celexa, with very good results. However, I have one very unpleasant side effect: It takes me forever to have an orgasm! This might not be so bad if I didn't still have such a very high sex drive....get the picture? Very frustrating. Has anyone ever dealt with this particular problem? Anyone know what the antidepressant is doing in my body that causes it? Many thanks in advance!

Amy R.
