Should I look for a new doctor? Do you think I have PCOS?

Thanks Belle, I know that Dr. Legro is one of the best and I know he was rushed the last time I saw him (last appointment of the day, etc.), but he still did some pretty strange things, like refusing to shut the door while we were talking and telling me that if I wanted an answer to a question I should read this article in the NE Journal of Medicine and then come back if I had any questions. . . the problem, when I looked for the article (my husband is at the Medical school so access to Medical journals is not an issue) it wasn't there. Granted, he probably got the title wrong, but it was still a little weird. He also wanted to "prove" to me that I ovulated so he sent me for a 21 day Progesterone test "to put my mind at ease." To his surprise, but not mine, the test came back with my Progesterone level at less than 1. He also wasn't interested in doing any blood tests other than the two hour Insulin/GTT. My fasting insulin was 26 and my glucose was 79 and that was "a little high" but he wasn't goint to "make a mountain out of a molehill" He didn't want a FSH, LH, Testosterone, or any other blood levels. Granted, I am not overweight. I don't have any excess hair or acne, but I have enlarged, polycystic ovaries, irregular (almost non-existant periods) and an elevated fasting insulin level. At the end of our discussion he said "I'm not nearly as worried as you are" and sent me on my way to come back in 6 months or when I was pregnant. When the Prog. level came back his nurse called me back and he decided that he wanted to pursue my case further and do a laproscopy (I have constant, undiagnosed pelvic pain and I know a lap is a good idea, I'm just scared) I do have an 18 month old son, conceived after 3 years of trying, but without any intervention. I have only had one period in those 18 months that was not induced with mediction. Ladies, what do you think? Should I look for a new doctor? Do you think I have PCOS?
