That is not a huge change and could be due to a number of reasons, most likely it is due to your cycle. While this is in the "normal" range, it is probably too high for us if we want to ovulate.

Obese is a medical term that means that you are over your ideal weight by a certain percentage. You can use this site to help you see your BMI (body mass index). Anything over 30 is considered obese.

Women with PCOS have been told for decades (probably centuries) to lose weight. It has only been in the last few years that we have found out the problems that are associated with PCOS. Because we are so prone to diabetes and heart disease, it is important that we aggressively treat PCOS. Low carb diets and exercise will help but insulin sensitizing drugs can be of great benefit in addition to this.

It sounds like your doctor may not be up to date on the current research on PCOS.

The pill is not a treatment for PCOS.

The thickness of your endometrial lining depends on the time of month. It sould be at least 8 - 9 mm by the time the egg matures. This is the minimum.
