I also was diagnosed with multiple fibroids. I was put on Provera to eliminate this heavy bleeding / spotting & to stop my periods all together. I am suppose to take it daily with no breaks so I do believe it is normal not to have a period until you stop it for a period of time. In fact, that is listed as one of the side effects of it.
