I was kinda hoping that someone else would answer this question. :)

OK, if you eat something that disagrees with you, you may excellerate the discharge of ... used food ... from your body. If I have high carbs (an extra soda pop with a meal) I really have to rush to the restroom and it is not at all like a normal trip. Outside of this kind of circumstance or other medical reason, it takes a while for your food to go through your system. If you have to go to the restroom once a day for a bowel movement, it is the food from the previous 24 hours that you are seeing, including supper from the might before. If your bowel movements have the same consistancy as they did before you began taking Glucophage, you are fine. Your body has just made an adjustment in the schedule. If you are experiencing extraordinarily fluid-y movements and this does not go away in a couple of weeks, mention this to your doctor.
