Re: Generic MetforminFrom: Joanne (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 14 Mar 2002 19:56:54 -0600 (CST)
Hi Sonnet, Even though they say generic is the same, it sure doesn't seem that way, I take Elavil for my migraines and as a muscle relaxer(which is a side affect from it, so it's a two for one, but my refill was the generic which is amitripylene, it doesn't work as well at all, not even close.. I find it the same with like tylenol or some stores brand of it, doesn't work as well. Sorry that your having all these side affects that stinks. Just thought I would give you my 5 cents worth. On another topic I'm going to write a paper on PCOS, would you mind answering some questions for me? I thought I might throw it out there for everyone or anyone to answer, what do you think? I'm a full time student again, at 37, it's really hard and demanding, way more than I ever thought. Some how or another though I have to relate this to a dental issue.... but being a diabetic or high blood pressure or even all the meds. people take is a dental issue.... so thats what I'll tie it in with.... oh well. what do ya think? thanks for your time. talk to you soon thanks Joanne At Thu, 14 Mar 2002, Sonnet wrote: > >Okay guys, I got my refill in generic form on Friday, the 8th.
