Dermoid Cyst and Fluid in the Cervix

Hi everyone, hope you are all o.k. I went to the doctor yesterday to find out the results of the endovaginal exam I had done on March 2nd, and I'm a little scared. First off, my ovaries are not polycystic, however I do have a nonshadowing mass that measures 5mm x 4mm x 5mm in the right ovary. They feel that it's either a hemorragic cyst, or a small dermoid. (yikes) I also have a small amount of fluid in the lower cervix. ( I have never heard of that before, and the doctor didn't make a big stink over it, so I'm guessing it's not that important) I have to go for another endovaginal exam mid April to see if it has either gone away or grown, and then discuss where to go from there with the doctor. He ordered some more blood tests for me because he says I act and look like a typical PCOS patient, but the numbers in the blood work just simply aren't there. (FSH/LH ratio is 2 to 1, and nothing else is out of the ordinary) He wants to rule out a tumor to make sure that it's not the cause of all my problems, but still put me on met basically because I wouldn't leave the office without it. :) ( As you can tell by some of my posts, I can get down right pushy when I feel it's neccessary) :) Anyway, I walked out of there feeling like he had just told me I was seriously ill, and that I was doomed because of the whole tumor issue. I think he meant he was worried about glandular problems, and this scares me. Anyone else have similar stories, or any words of wisdom to help me get through the next month without becoming a basket of worries? I appreciate it. Christie ( sorry so long!!)
