I had a brother who thought he didn't have any emotions on Paxil, too. I have been on about six different anti-depressants and have never noticed that problem, except that when I was on Paxil I did notice that it wasn't as easy for me to cry at appropriate times. I told my brother that I thought maybe he was so used to the bad way he was feeling before that the new mood change was just unfamiliar to him. Of course I don't know, really. But, I do agree with the message before about Effexor. It has been great. It never hurts to switch. You just have to give it about 3 to 4 weeks to work.
