Hi Barbara, long time no talk!
I just wanted to jump in here and say, at least as far as I read the
original post and responded myself, I don't think anyone's talking about
the long-term effects of PCOS / IR. Those are definitely on topic! It's
when people come on and post notes that are really incongruous with the
rest of the posts, about a different illness, or the ones you see once
in a while from people who MUST have fallen into the wrong forum (ie,
"My gf missed a pill this month. Is she pregnant??" and so on.)
Diabetes, heart disease, etc are all concerns for any woman with PCOS
and are therefore specific to this forum. Right?? :)
