Re: gentle reminder

I see very few, if any, posts that are not related in some way to PCOS. It has to be taken into consideration that not everything is known about this condition and that many women wonder if some of the symptoms they are having are due to PCOS or not. The only way they can discover this is if they ask other women if they are having the same symptoms or if anyone knows about them (as info on this condition is often hard to find, or as yet undiscovered/unresearched). I would hate to think that women who are seeking information would fear posting because it might upset someone - as many women are new to PCOS and truly don't know if they are posting relative information or not. Also, some women may think something is related to PCOS and through these boards realize it is not - and therefore may seek much needed treatment. PCOS can affect almost every aspect of one's life including depression, shaving, self-esteem, weight, relationships etc. Until we are all discussing each others interior decorating and pets, I think we're doing okay and using this board as it is meant to be used.
