Unfortunatly my doctor didn't seem to be listening to me at all..and he
never referred to glucose metabolism, just the fact that bcp's would
make the problem worse...he also said he wouldn't advise because it
would increase my blood pressure...i had mentioned that my blood
pressure had spiked a little high several years ago while I was taking
bcp's but that this was prior to my losing a considerable amount of
weight, and I dont have that problem now. I don't have the option of
going to another doctor where I live...and this man was supposedly a
specialist.
I had a feeling though that what he was telling me wasn't right, and I
will take this info. back to him next time i see him.
