Hi,

your situation is not hopeless! Treatment for PCOS generally involves insulin sensitising drugs (such as Metformin). Metformin when combined with clomid can have good results for many women. There are also other means for stimulating ovulation and hence pregnancy. Most important is to find a dr. you feel comfortable with and who has experience in and is up-to-date in treating PCOS. You will need to educate yourself so that you know what options you have and then you can demand them from your Dr. Plenty of good info on this site and the pcos support site so go and have a look. Ask any questions you want - we are all here to help eachother.
