I do have an occasional glass of red wine with dinner, esp. before I
switched to a high fiber, lower protein, low fat (vegetarian) diet. I
was not responding well first to low carb and then to just low gylcemic,
I found that a glass of merlot with dinner helped me feel a lot better.
