MC, Don't worry unneccessarily; I have PCOS, and I conceived child #1 at 37 one year to the month after going off birth control pills and Aldactone. It wasn't problematic at all. However, I had a miscarriage last June and have had difficulty conceiving since; low progesterone levels and hirsutism, weight gain, acne, etc. I've done 3 rounds of Clomid and am now taking Avandia to see what happens. I'll go to an RE as my next step. So. First baby went well; second is proving difficult. Good luck to you, and be heartened. Sara
