Hi Angie

I am so sorry to hear you are so uncomfatable. I am based in the UK for my experiences with doctors is a little irrelevant. However I have had a couple of cycles whan I have bled for 3-8 weeks, and the bleed gets heavier the longer the bleed goes on. I had a scan last week to check out my fibroids. I have one larger one attached to the lining of my uterus nearest my overy. My specialist told me that this was causing the cramping and aching in my right side when i bleed. I know that it is not uncommon for PCOS sufferers to have fibroids, he reccommenede a new anti inflamitory called Vioxxacute, I am no expert but he said that it should help the pain and stem the flow of bleeding.

Get yourself a new sympathetic and understanding doctor it makes the world of difference

Good luck and take care
