Re: PCOS sufferers in their 20s?

I`m 28. I`m pretty sure I have PCOS. It is so frustrating. I eat a better diet than 99% of the people I know, I exercise 45 minutes per day, plus light weight training and cannot lose any weight. I am going to my OB today to ask to be put on Glucophage to see if it can help me. I don`t want to be fat for the rest of my life. I do not seem to have any of the fertility problems associated with PCOS- but I think that is because I started young. I was married at 21 and had my first at 22. My fourth at 27. I am still breastfeeding, but don`t think that it should matter with the glucophage.

Frustrated in MO.

It's hard for me because I have always been outgoing and busy, now I want to hide from the world. My family says they miss the old me. I wish I could be her again. >Bye, >Ami
